Collins Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. You assume that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. Everybody nearby loves skiing at Mt. Hood Ski Bowl, and do take a hike on the Hidden Lake Trail. Have a good hiking adventure along the Paradise Park Trail, and one of the principal highlights of the surroundings of Collins Lake is Eureka Peak. So much cool stuff in the Central Cascade Range, just fantastic. For the duration

| | of the warmest time of the year highs here at Collins Lake get into the 70's. During the moonlight hours it's typically in the 50's. Highs throughout the wintertime are commonly in the 40's, and nighttime lows in the 30's for Collins Lake. All year is a brilliant time in the Central Cascade Range if you adore the outdoors. whitewater. You completely ought to fancy Collins Lake. After a long day outdoors Mount Hood Inn is a good spot to spend a night or two; the slopes of Timberline Lodge are so inviting noone can resist. This lake is so wonderful.
Hiking along the Tom Dick Trail is glorious fun; you're sure to bump into some wonderful people from Hood River here. A great deal of rain falls at Collins Lake; the month of December is the wettest with most of the rain, and the
driest of the months is July. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining things in the Central Cascade Range. Dry warm beds await you at Whispering Woods (Vri), and since you're here, you could also stop by lovely Trillium Lake.
Camping is available at Nanitch Campground, and do set aside some time for Summit Meadows if you're here at Collins Lake. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Sandy River, and a tremendous site to camp here at Collins Lake is High Cascade
Snowboard Camp. Collins Lake is one of the lakes here in the Central Cascade Range. This lake is so wonderful. Swim Creek is a splendid local stream, and you'll come across a gorgeous lake called Mirror Lake.
