This lake is so wonderful. Wood Reservoir is a glorious lake near Cold Springs Reservoir,       and if you come at the right time of year, Rogue River offers some great whitewater. This place, the Siskiyou Mountains, has so much outdoors amusing things. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Inn At The Rogue, and Savage Rapids is always fun to check out. At Cold Springs Reservoir throughout the summertime months highs are in the 70's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 40's with temperatures                  at Cold Springs Reservoir dipping down into the 30's during winter nights. If you need a site to stay Holiday Inn Express Grants Pass, Or is a good choice, and you don’t have to go far from Cold Springs Reservoir to see the water at Savage Rapids Dam. This lake is so wonderful. Riverfront Trailer Park is a good campground nearby, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Grayback Clapboard Trail. Visit Bee Creek while you're here at Cold Springs Reservoir, and you'll probably meet some folks from Grants Pass here. This lake is one of the great places here in the Siskiyou Mountains. If you like the outdoors you'll like it here in the Siskiyou Mountains. A glorious location to take a look at next to Cold Springs Reservoir is Briar Gulch, and there are other locations here than Cold Springs Reservoir, for example Spaulding Reservoir.
