Why not stop by Cold Spring Reservoir if you're passing through these parts. The Central Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful. This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. Have a perfect hiking adventure along the Thomas Trail; swing by Bear Lake Creek it's a good site to take a look at. Cold Spring Reservoir generally gets a great deal of rain; the wettest month of the year is frequently December, that's the one that rains the most while July

| | is ordinarily the driest month. Soar down the rapids of Santiam River - North in a kayak, and Lodge at Suttle Lake is a great place to get some rest. That right there is plenty of enjoyable things already but it goes on, the Central Cascade Range has it all. What would winter be without some skiing at Hoodoo; get yourself into a kayak and hit Breitenbush River. You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun stuff in the Central Cascade Range. | |

Hiking along the Bachelor Mountain Trail is nice fun, and if you came for an overnight stay B and B Rentals is a great place to camp. Just can't get enough of Cold Spring Reservoir. Why not camp at Detroit Lake State Park if you're
here at Cold Spring Reservoir. Lakes? Sure, Bear Lake is around here. High temperatures at Cold Spring Reservoir throughout the warm months are in the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. Daytime highs through the
winter are in the 40's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Cold Spring Reservoir. Take a hike on the Coffin Mountain Trail, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at close by Mud Puppy Lake.
