Cold Spring Reservoir is a lake worth visiting. Whohoo, so much amusing stuff in one place! The Central Cascade Range is great! Cold Spring Reservoir is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Detroit Lake State Park is a brilliant local campground, and what would winter be without some skiing at Hoodoo. Through the summertime here at Cold Spring Reservoir, high temperatures frequently reach the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. Highs during

| | the wintertime are frequently in the 40's; throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Cold Spring Reservoir temperatures sink to the 30's. Now, you may feel that's a lot but there's even more fun stuff to do here in the Central Cascade Range. If the weather is good here at Cold Spring Reservoir, you can go for a hike along the Thomas Trail, and if you come at the right time of year, Breitenbush River offers some brilliant whitewater.

check out; you can have a great hiking adventure along the Coffin Mountain Trail. After a long day outdoors Detroit Motel is a nice location to spend a night or two, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Bachelor Mountain
Trail.
Dry warm beds await you at All Season's Motel; camping at B and B Rentals is always a splendid experience. This lake is one of the great places here in the Central Cascade Range. This lake is so wonderful.

is so wonderful. Why not take a look at close by Bear Lake Creek if you're here at Cold Spring Reservoir; glide down the rapids of Santiam River - North in a kayak.
