A short tour to Chipmunk Spring is always worthwhile, and do take a hike on the Whisky Spring Trail.       Coke Pond is typically a reasonably waterless place; December is the wettest month with most snow, and July is when it's the driest. This lake is located in the wonderful Southern Cascade Range. Throughout the warm days of summer at Coke Pond highs are frequently in the 80's with night lows in the 40's.
