A visit to Coffeepot Reservoir is always a good idea. No need to travel far to pop by attention-grabbing stuff like Coffeepot Crater, and paddling on Owyhee River is so much fun. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 90's to Coffeepot Reservoir. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 30's; overnight lows at Coffeepot Reservoir through the wintertime regularly fall into the 20's. This lake is so wonderful.
