There is a brilliant hiking trail near Cody Ponds called the Little Badger Creek Trail; Cooper Spur is a good local ski area. Not far from Cody Ponds, you'll hit upon Smarts Reservoir which is a scenic lake, and close by you find the Pen Way Trail which is a pleasant hiking trail. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors fun things the Central Cascade Range has to offer. Camping is       available at Pine Hollow Lakeside Resort, and get your heart pumping on the brilliant whitewater of White River. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Dam Campground while you're here at Cody Ponds, and the Ball Point Trail is a glorious hiking trail nearby. Having a wonderful time in the Central Cascade Range is simple. An afternoon playing golf at Pine Hollow Golf Course is always a joy. Lakes are wonderful; Rock Creek Reservoir is a lake that's close                  to Cody Ponds. This lake is so wonderful. You'll meet a lot of people from City of The Dalles here, and not far from Cody Ponds you obtain some great water scenery at Rock Creek Dam. So many amusing things to do here at Cody Ponds, too pleasant to be true. A tremendous spot for whitewater paddling in the neighborhood of Cody Ponds is White River, and some exciting geology is available here, Hill Bench is right here. All the water falling down from the sky makes Cody Ponds a wet location; the wettest month of the year is mostly December, that's the one that snows the most while July is ordinarily the driest month. Cousins Country Inn is a splendid location to get some rest. This lake is one of the great places here in the Central Cascade Range. At Cody Ponds during the days of summer highs are in the 60's; the night is quite colder of course, frequently in the 40's.
