It's always fun to stop by Cody Ponds. What would a place like Cody Ponds be without attention-grabbing nearby traits like Hill Bench, and after a long day outdoors Deschutes Motel is a delightful spot to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Little Badger Creek Trail is always a brilliant adventure, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by nearby Rock Creek Reservoir. | | Trail. All year is a wonderful time in the Central Cascade Range if you adore the outdoors. Why not camp at Dam Campground if you're here at Cody Ponds, and White River is a glorious whitewater spot nearby. All the water falling down from the sky makes Cody Ponds a wet spot; the month of December is the wettest with most of the snow; the driest month of the year is July. the 60's, and the night is slightly cooler of course, regularly in the 40's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 30's, and nighttime lows throughout the wintertime for Cody Ponds tend to be in the 20's.
Now, you may believe that's a load but there's even more cool stuff to do here at Cody Ponds. Playing golf is lots of fun at Pine Hollow Golf Course, and in case you don’t mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling
on White River. Cody Ponds is one of the lakes here in the Central Cascade Range. So much fun stuff to do here in the Central Cascade Range, too delightful to be true. The skiing at Cooper Spur is great; close by you stumble on the
Ball Point Trail which is a great hiking trail. This lake is so wonderful. A good place to camp here at Cody Ponds is Pine Hollow Lakeside Resort, and there are plenty of people from City of The Dalles here. Dry warm beds await you at Inn at Cooper Spur, and an interesting thing to have a look at close to Cody Ponds is Rock Creek Dam.
