Go to Coburns Pond if you want to go to a nice lake. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Sandy River, and you can stay the night at Camp Creek - Mount Hood National Forest. These mountains rock, just look at all the enjoyable stuff to do in the Central Cascade Range. If you need a spot to stay Best Western Sandy Inn is a brilliant choice; Armstrong - Mount Hood National Forest is a wonderful campground here. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along

| | the Eagle Creek Cutoff will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area, also Firwood Veneer Corporation Dam is worth stopping at while you're here. You completely must have a thing about the Central Cascade Range. If the weather is good here at Coburns Pond, you can go for a hike along the Fanton Plaza Trail; there are some pleasant whitewater spots on Bull Run. The Old Baldy Trail is a great hiking trail right next door to Coburns Pond, and do take a look | |

at Coburns Pond through the months of summer are in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's with temperatures at Coburns Pond dipping down into the 30's through winter
nights. This lake is so wonderful. Don't you try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a glorious time here at Coburns Pond. Dry warm beds await you at Brookside Bed & Breakfast; naturally, this is a perfect region for folks who like lakes,
Firwood Veneer Corporation Reservoir is a lake close by. This lake is one of the great places here in the Central Cascade Range.
