Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Klamath River. Clover Lake is a rather wet place typically with much precipitation; December is the wettest month with most snow, and the driest month of the year is July. This is no site for people who don’t like to have fun. Get your heart pumping on the fine whitewater of Klamath River, and the Varney Creek Trail       is a splendid hiking trail close by. This lake is one of the great places here in the Southern Cascade Range. Throughout the warmest time of the year at Clover Lake highs are generally in the 60's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 40's. Through the winter the highs are ordinarily in the 30's, and after the sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures at Clover Lake fall into the 10's. Having a glorious time in the Southern Cascade Range is                  uncomplicated. At Clover Lake you can see Aspen Butte, and White Pine Campground is a perfect local campground. Going for a hike on the Moss Creek Trail is always a brilliant adventure, and Clover Lake is a glorious place to visit for more than one day, Rocky Point Resort is a glorious place to camp nearby. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Clover Lake, you could also check out pretty Lake Como, and after a long day outdoors Super 8 Klamath Falls is a perfect place to spend a night or two.
