Go to Cleo Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. High temperatures at Cleo Lake throughout the summer are in the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 40's; winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Cleo Lake. Don't forget to take a perfect little spree to Moon Creek, and paddling on Marion Creek is so much fun. A lake close by is Pinet Lake.
This lake is so wonderful.

| | Put some time aside to spend at Gooch Falls since you're here at Cleo Lake, and there are nice sites to discover along the Blue Lake Trail. All the outdoors exciting stuff in the Central Cascade Range will keep you coming back over and over. From Cleo Lake you get a great panorama of Turpentine Peak, and get drenched paddling on Santiam River - North. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Tombstone Prairie Campground is a tremendous place to do that, | |

and there is a perfect hiking trail nearby called the Pine Ridge Trail.
Hit the slopes at Hoodoo in the neighborhood, and if you get bored of Cleo Lake you could also stop by nearby Turpentine Lake. Cleo Lake is a pretty wet place
usually with a good deal of precipitation; most of the rain falls through December, and July is the month with the least moisture. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Central Cascade Range. Camping at Trout Lake Campground is always
a pleasant experience, and places like Marion Flats are pleasant to pop by.
So many enjoyable things near Cleo Lake, clearly unbelievable. Going for a hike on the Turpentine Peak Trail is always a good adventure, and dry warm beds await you at Lodge at Suttle Lake. Cleo Lake is located in the Central Cascade Range.
