Be careful coming to the Coast Ranges, you might not ever wanna return home again. The friendly
people of Corvallis like to hang out close by, and you can stay the night at Benton County Fairgrounds. This lake is so wonderful. Alsea River - South Fork is a tremendous whitewater spot near Clemens Log Pond. A fine place for whitewater
paddling close to Clemens Log Pond is Marys River, and Bald Hill is wonderful and can be seen from here.
The high level of precipitation makes Clemens Log Pond a rather wet place; the month of December is the wettest with most of the rain, and July meanwhile is the driest month.
