If you are in Wasco county it's always a good idea to stop by Clear Lake. High temperatures at Clear Lake through the warm months are in the 70's. Summer nighttime lows sink down to the 50's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 40's; overnight lows all through the winter for Clear Lake tend to be in the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Sandy River, and Lower Twin

| | Campground is a pleasant campground nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Wasco Dam has fine water scenery and it's in close proximity to Clear Lake, and there are nice sites to look at along the Mount Wilson Trail. At Clear Lake you always meet someone from Hood River; going for a hike on the Driveway Trail is always a brilliant adventure. A great nearby hotel is Mount Hood Inn, and don't leave Clear Lake without first going for a hike along the Wilson Cove | |

Trail. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. Some close by water includes Elk Creek, and nice skiing awaits you at Timberline Lodge. All year is a nice time in the Central Cascade Range if you love the outdoors. Since
you're here at Clear Lake why not pop by Blue Box Pass, and Green Lake is a nearby lake that you could pop by. Clear Lake sees pretty high levels of precipitation; most of the rain falls during December, and July is the month with
the least moisture. Man, is there a heap of fun things to do next to Clear Lake. Clear Lake is located in the Central Cascade Range. Mt. Hood Meadows has glorious slopes and a friendly staff, and there are some great whitewater
spots on White River. So much fun stuff to do here in the Central Cascade Range, too great to be true. Clear Lake is a great spot to visit for more than one day, Salmon River Campground is a great spot to camp nearby, and while you're here, you could also take a look at striking Frog Lake.
