It's always fun to stop by Clear Lake. This lake is so wonderful. At Clear Lake through the warm months highs are in the 60's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 40's. Highs all through the winter are usually in the 50's; after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at Clear Lake plunge into the 30's. What a place this is for outdoors people. There are other sites here than Clear Lake, for example Ackerley Lake, and Economy Inn - Florence is

| | a great location to get some rest.
So many fun things to do here in the Coast Ranges, too great to be true. Collard Lake is a good lake near Clear Lake, and why not explore close by Ackerley Creek while you're here at Clear Lake. There are wonderful locations to explore along the Threemile Lake Trail, and time spent at Baker Beach is always great. rains the most while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
A round of golf at nearby Ocean Dunes Golf Links is a great way to kill some time, and get your pulse rate up on the magnificent whitewater of Siuslaw
River. This lake is so wonderful. A visit to Dowells Peninsula close to Clear Lake is always a wonderful idea, and Lake View Trailer Court is a good campground nearby. Man, is there plenty of exciting things to do in the Coast Ranges.
A good nearby hotel is Holiday Inn Express Florence, Or, and Clear Lake is a nice location to visit for more than one day, Mercer Lake Resort is a nice location to camp nearby.
The Coast Ranges scenery is always beautiful.
