Whitewater paddling is delightful on Owyhee River, and lots of people from Ontario come here. For the duration of the months of summer here at Claude Reservoir, high temperatures frequently get into the 90's; during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime highs are mostly in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Claude Reservoir are in the 20's. | | the snow is December while July is commonly the driest month. A lake nearby is Blue Canyon Reservoir, and Claude Reservoir is not the only site close by, Wild Rose Reservoir is a close by lake.
