Here at Clarks Pond you'll perhaps meet some folks from Albany-Lebanon; you'll discover a wonderful lake called Taylor Reservoir. Near Clarks Pond you find a golf course called Mallard Creek Golf Course, and Rodeway Inn & Suites is a wonderful place to get some rest. This place, Clarks Pond, it clearly has so much outdoors       entertaining stuff. Dry warm beds await you at Econo Lodge Albany, and Clarks Pond is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Premier RV Resort at Mallard Creek Golf Course is a nice local campground. In case you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Santiam River - South, and a perfect place to camp here at Clarks Pond is Waterloo County Park. The yearly precipitation here at Clarks Pond is about average; during                  December this area sees the most rain, and the driest of the months is July. This lake is so wonderful. At Clarks Pond during the months of summer highs are in the 80's, and all through the night it cools down to the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 40's, and night lows at Clarks Pond all through the wintertime frequently drop into the 30's. This lake is so wonderful.
