If you are in Deschutes county it's always a good idea to stop by Clark Lake. The Central Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful. For the duration of the months of summer, highs typically are in the 80's at Clark Lake with nighttime lows in the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's, and overnight lows all through the winter for Clark Lake tend to be in the 20's. Very charming scenery and perfect skiing is what you get at Willamette Pass, and Clark
Lake is right by the Snowshoe Lake Trail.
This lake is so wonderful. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Mt. Bachelor if you're here; if you came to camp East Lake Resort and RV Parks is a magnificent place to do that. You clearly should fancy the Central Cascade Range. The Winopee Lake Trail offers hiking at its best, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Horse Creek. Not enough hours in

a day to enjoy this site. Lakes? Sure, Barbie Lakes is close by; Clark Lake is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Upper Campground is a nice local campground.
Man, is there heaps of fun stuff to do in the Central Cascade Range. Take a hike on the Twin Peaks Trail. There's whitewater on McKenzie River - South Fork for all you adrenaline people, and Pillar Peak is a peak you can catch a glimpse of from Clark Lake. All the water falling down from the sky makes Clark Lake a wet place; the month of December is the wettest with most of the rain, and July is when it's the driest.
