    Beautiful Clackamas Lake has much to offer visitors. Drift down the rapids of Zigzag River in a kayak, and there is a good hiking trail close by called the Skyline Alternate Trail. Clackamas Lake is located in the Central Cascade Range. Clackamas Lake is a quite wet place frequently with much precipitation; the month with most of the rain is December while July is frequently the driest month.
This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Driveway
 
   Trail is always a great adventure; Timberline Lodge is a perfect place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Summertime highs at Clackamas Lake generally tend to be in the 70's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's. During the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's, and night lows at Clackamas Lake through the wintertime generally descend into the 30's.
Yep, outdoors cool things truly is plentiful here in
 
               the Central Cascade Range. Why not camp at Salmon River Campground if you're here at Clackamas Lake, and Mt. Hood Ski Bowl is a great local ski area. No way I can stop, cause I'm havin' a pleasant time here at Clackamas Lake. A good place to camp here at Clackamas Lake is Lower Twin Campground, and you can go for a hike on the Summit Lake Trail. During your spree to Clackamas Lake you'll meet some people from Hood River for sure; the slopes of Timberline Lodge are so inviting noone can resist.
There's no way anyone can get bored here in the Central Cascade Range. Paddling on White River is so much fun, and dry warm beds await you at Huckleberry Inn.
