     The beauty of Clackamas Lake attracts many people from all around. All the water falling down from the sky makes Clackamas Lake a wet place; during the month of December you get the most rain around here, and the driest month of the year is July. A splendid nearby hotel is Mount Hood Inn, naturally you could also take a look at Little Crater Lake since you're here; it's not far at all. So many cool things to do here in the Central Cascade Range, too fine  
   to be true. Lots of people from Hood River come to Clackamas Lake, and Whispering Woods (Vri) is a delightful spot to get some rest.
This lake is so wonderful. White River is a splendid whitewater spot in the neighborhood of Clackamas Lake; there are great locations to discover along the Summit Lake Trail. Clackamas Lake beyond doubt is in the middle of a delightful outdoors paradise. Mt. Hood Ski Bowl is a great local ski area, and probably you're looking
 
               for close by lakes? Sure, Summit Lake is just a very short distance away. All year is a good time in the Central Cascade Range if you love the outdoors. The slopes of Timberline Lodge are so inviting nobody can resist, and going for a hike on the Driveway Trail is always a fine adventure.
This lake is so wonderful. Near Clackamas Lake you come across the Skyline Alternate Trail which is a delightful hiking trail; camping at Lower Twin Campground is always a good experience. Clackamas Lake is located in the Central Cascade Range.
In the event that you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Zigzag River, and a fine place to camp here at Clackamas Lake is Salmon River Campground. For the period of the months of summer here at Clackamas Lake, high temperatures commonly get into the 70's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's, and nighttime lows at Clackamas Lake throughout the winter regularly fall into the 30's.

Forest Trail 742, without gear. After you've scoped the area, come back and stay. Even on Labor Day Weekend ('06) there were several campsites available in this dispersed camp area....
