Fivemile Point is in the vicinity and always great to pop by, and Chrome Lake is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Bandon RV Park is a fine local campground. Chrome Lake typically gets lots of rain; December is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month is July. Dry warm beds await you at Lamplighter Motel. Lakes are great; Fahys Lake is a lake that's right next door to Chrome Lake. Chrome Lake is       one of the lakes here in the Coast Ranges. Summer at Chrome Lake comes with high temperatures in the 60's with overnight lows in the 50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 50's with temperatures at Chrome Lake dipping down into the 30's throughout winter nights. All the outdoors enjoyable things in the Coast Ranges will keep you coming back over and over. This place, Chrome Lake, it absolutely has so much outdoors enjoyable stuff. If you want                  to hit the beach, Merchants Beach is close by. There's so much to do here at Chrome Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Bullards Beach State Park is a wonderful spot for that. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Coast Ranges. If you need a place to stay Sea Star Guesthouse is a brilliant choice, and you'll perhaps meet some folks from Coos Bay here. This lake is so wonderful.
