Lake Chetlo is located in the Central Cascade Range. Whitewater paddling is wonderful on Hills Creek, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Salmon Creek Trail. The warmest time of the year at Lake Chetlo arrives with high temperatures in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 40's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here       at Lake Chetlo. Man, is there a lot of exciting things to do in the Central Cascade Range. Sleepy Hollow Motel is a great site to get some rest. The high level of rain makes Lake Chetlo a pretty wet place; the wettest month of the year is typically December, that's the one that rains the most while July is usually the driest month. Lake Chetlo is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Shelter Cove Resort is a magnificent local campground; Eddeeleo                  Lakes is a pleasant lake nearby. Lake Chetlo beyond doubt is in the middle of a pretty outdoors paradise. In case you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on McKenzie River - South Fork, and you can have a good hiking adventure along the Crain Prairie Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Willamette Pass is a very popular ski area in the neighborhood, and here at Lake Chetlo you can distinguish Waldo Mountain. You just have to have a thing about the Central Cascade Range. Hiking along the Winchester Trail is splendid fun.
