     Cherry Creek Reservoir is always a pleasure to visit. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Owyhee River - North Fork. It is very dehydrated here at Cherry Creek Reservoir generally; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain, and July is when it's the driest. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Cherry Creek Reservoir, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. During the wintertime highs are regularly in the 30's, and after the  
   sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Cherry Creek Reservoir fall into the 10's.
There are some wonderful whitewater spots on Owyhee River, and some of the water close by flows, like Cherry Creek.
