This lake is one of the great places here       in the Blue Mountains. High temperatures at Charlie Smith Reservoir during the months of summer are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 40's. Through the winter this place gets highs in the 30's; overnight lows at Charlie Smith Reservoir through the winter mostly plunge into the 20's. A delightful site to camp here at Charlie Smith Reservoir is Rock Springs Campground; hiking along the Berry Creek Trail is great fun.
