At Chapman Ponds you can make out Rippet Mountain, and probably you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Riverside Lake is just a very short distance away. Much rainfall falls at Chapman Ponds; December is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month is July. This lake is so wonderful. There is a great hiking trail near Chapman Ponds called the Cannon Beach Trail, needless to say you could       also have a look at Mantel Lake since you're here; it's not far at all. You simply have to fancy the Coast Ranges. All our national parks are delightful spots to check out, and Fort Clatsop National Memorial is no exception; you can always enjoy a lazy day on the beach at Indian Beach. Why not camp at Venice RV Park while you're here at Chapman Ponds, and do set aside some time for Bear Valley if you're here at Chapman Ponds. Yeah, come here to Chapman Ponds                  for a great time. This lake is so wonderful. Chapman Ponds is a place with many visitors from Astoria; dry warm beds await you at Microtel Seaside. Sams Resort is a pleasant local campground, and hey, Beerman Creek is a magnificent local stream. Whitewater paddling is brilliant on Nehalem River, and Sunset Beach is rather close by if you're in a beach type of mood. Chapman Ponds is located in the Coast Ranges. At Chapman Ponds through the warm months highs are in the 60's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 40's. Highs during the wintertime are usually in the 40's with temperatures at Chapman Ponds dipping down into the 30's during winter nights. So many fun things to do here at Chapman Ponds, too magnificent to be true.
