Oregon has many beautiful lakes and Chapman Ponds is one of them. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Nehalem River; you can spend the day on the beach at Indian Beach. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Venice RV Park while you're here at Chapman Ponds, and after a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites SEASIDE-CONVENTION CENTER is a magnificent place to spend a night or two.

| | Chapman Ponds gets lots of water; the month of December is the wettest with most of the rain, and July on the other hand is the driest.
High temperatures at Chapman Ponds through the summertime are in the 60's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 40's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 40's; night lows through the winter for Chapman Ponds tend to be in the 30's. Course. There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Chapman Ponds. If you came for an overnight stay Sams Resort is a good location to camp; Mantel Lake is a nearby lake that you could have a look at.
This lake is located
in the wonderful Coast Ranges. This lake is so wonderful. Here at Chapman Ponds you can see Rippet Mountain, and there are plenty of folks from Astoria here. If you adore the outdoors you'll adore it here in the Coast Ranges. Bear
Valley is a tremendous site to stretch your legs a bit, and hiking along the Cannon Beach Trail is glorious fun.
You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting stuff in the Coast Ranges. Fort Clatsop National
Memorial is a nice spot right next door to Chapman Ponds, and swing by Beerman Creek it's a wonderful place to check out. One of the best things about Chapman Ponds is its proximity to Sunset Beach; a delightful nearby hotel is The Inn at Seaside.
