Chamberlain Lake is a wet place that gets much rain; the month with most of the rain is December, and July meanwhile is the driest month. If you come at the right time of year, Nestucca River offers some good whitewater, and Chamberlain Lake is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Cape Lookout State Park is a brilliant local campground. Having a brilliant time in the Coast Ranges is uncomplicated. If you       need a place to stay Comfort Inn Garibaldi is a pleasant choice, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Kilchis River - North Fork. This lake is one of the great places here in the Coast Ranges. After a long day outdoors Best Western Inn & Suites is a perfect place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. A brilliant spot to camp here at Chamberlain Lake is Cape Kiwanda RV Park, and why not take a little                  spree to Allen Creek while you're here. Through the summer months here at Chamberlain Lake, high temperatures usually get into the 60's while nighttime lows are generally in the 40's.
