Cemetery Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Best Western Astoria Inn is a splendid choice, and Cemetery Lake is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Sunset Lake Resort and Park is a nice local campground. For the duration of the summertime here at Cemetery Lake, high temperatures ordinarily get into the 60's, and all through the night it cools down to the 40's. Through the winter

| | highs are in the 40's with temperatures at Cemetery Lake dipping down into the 30's during winter nights. Whohoo, so many entertaining things in one place! Cemetery Lake is excellent! Time spent at Sunset Beach near Cemetery Lake is always perfect, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop at close by Smith Lake. if the weather is good, you can go for a hike along the Cannon Beach Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Near Cemetery Lake you come across a golf course called Astoria Golf & Country Club. All year is a glorious time in the Coast
Ranges if you adore the outdoors. At Cemetery Lake you always meet someone from Astoria, and swamps like Brallier Swamp are fun to explore. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool stuff in the Coast Ranges. Alder Creek is a splendid
local stream. Lakes are great; Wild Ace Lake is a lake that's in close proximity to Cemetery Lake. Cemetery Lake is a wet location that gets a good deal of rain; December is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of
the year is July. Fort Clatsop National Memorial is a nice spot in the vicinity of Cemetery Lake, and a glorious spot to camp here at Cemetery Lake is Kampers West Kampground.

Driftwood RV Park
 | 12 miles away ...the Columbia river. The Park is 2. 2 acres with 56 sites on it. All sites are grass, tables at each site, full hook-up with cable and Wi-Fi available. We are 2. 5 blocks from the beach and 14 blocks from downtown. We have showers, laundry, and a meeting hall available to groups. Our Park is perpendicular to the highway so most sites are well away from the road. There are hiking and bicycling trails, a national wildlife refuge, two beautiful light houses and much history dating back to Lewis and Clark's discovery in 1805. A great place to do exploring, fishing, hiking, and just being able to set on the beach and enjoy nature.
The town of Long Beach still retains some of the old charm from the 40's and 50's, yet being able to provide you with up to date services. Great dinning is available from several restaurants. Horse back riding, the Dunes Beach trail that now leads from Ilwaco north to north 16th St in Long Beach (7+ miles). Many events throughout the year gives you many opportunities to enjoy the various things, like kit flying, sand castle building, and the local culture.... |
