If you like lakes and you're in this part of Oregon you can check out Lake of the Cedars. There's so much to do here at Lake of the Cedars that you need to camp here for a while, Dardanelle Trailer Park is a brilliant location for that, and hiking along the Chicago Trail is delightful fun. to discover everything Lake of the Cedars has to offer, you can camp at Central Point Koa Kampground. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites MEDFORD-CENTRAL POINT is a glorious spot
to spend a night or two; if you've had enough of Lake of the Cedars, Koellner Reservoir is nearby. At Lake of the Cedars through the summertime months highs are in the 80's while night lows are generally in the 50's. For the duration
of the wintertime the highs are commonly in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Lake of the Cedars are in the 30's. So much enjoyable stuff to do here in the Siskiyou Mountains, too tremendous to be true. Lake of the Cedars
is not the only location close by, James Reservoir is a close by lake, and Lester James Dam is a wonderful site. While you're here at Lake of the Cedars you can take a hike along the Canyon Number Three Trail.

Mt. Ashland
 | 27 miles away 3 PHOTOS If you can ski Mt. Ashland, you can ski anywhere, is a boast locals in southern Oregon have made for 45 years. It is true; Mt. Ashland offers plenty of adventure for both skiers and riders. The ski area is located about a half an hour drive from the charming town of Ashland, home to the world renowned Oregon Shakespeare Festival. At 7,500 feet, Mt. Ashland is the highest point in the Siskiyou mountain range. Its north facing slopes collect an average 300 inches of snowfall annually. The ski area offers 23 trails in addition to chute skiing and boarding in its famous bowl. All trails are easily accessed by 4 chairlifts. Twilight skiing on 10 runs is scheduled Thursday through Friday evenings beginning in late-December. The mountain prides itself on a warm and friendly atmosphere.
