The Central Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful. These mountains rock, just look at all the fun things to do in the Central Cascade Range. The Pine Crest Trail offers hiking at its best; you can stay the night at Eagle Fern Camp. High temperatures at Cedar Reservoir all through the summertime months are in the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the       40's while Cedar Reservoir overnight low temperatures through the winter are in the 30's. You absolutely must fancy the Central Cascade Range. If you need a site to stay Howard Johnson Gresham is a fine choice, and why not take a refreshing hike along the High Camp Trail. And if that's not sufficient, there's a heap more to do near Cedar Reservoir. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Sandy Inn; do take a hike on the Baty Silver King Trail. There are                  some nice whitewater spots on Clackamas River, and the good folks of Portland-Vancouver-Beaverton like to hang out nearby. Cedar Reservoir sees pretty high levels of rain; the month with most of the rain is December, and the driest of the months is July. This lake is so wonderful. A lake nearby is Swanson Reservoir; Springwater Golf Course is a golf course nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Highland Butte is picturesque and can be made out from Cedar Reservoir, and if you come at the right time of year, Clear Creek offers some perfect whitewater.
