The beauty of Cedar Lake is reason enough to stop by. Cedar Lake is a reasonably wet place generally with much rain; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most rain, and the driest month of the year is July. So much entertaining stuff to do in the Central Cascade Range, not enough time. Near Cedar Lake you discover the Rocky Top Trail which is a magnificent hiking trail; Best Western Sandy Inn is a perfect location to get some rest. This

| | lake is so wonderful. A lake close by is Opal Lake. Cedar Lake is located in the Central Cascade Range. Go for a hike on the Beachie Trail, and in the event that you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Santiam River - North. Now, you may think that's a heap but there's even more cool stuff to do here at Cedar Lake. on Elkhorn Creek. This site, the Central Cascade Range, has so much outdoors cool things. Going for a hike on the French Creek Trail is always a good adventure; B and B Rentals is a tremendous campground nearby. This lake is so
wonderful. Nearby Knutson Saddle is a splendid site to go if you're at Cedar Lake, and you can stay the night at Detroit Lake State Park. You get a pleasant vista of Sardine Mountain from Cedar Lake, naturally you could also check
out Tumble Lake since you're here; it's not far at all. Through the days of summer at Cedar Lake highs are generally in the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's; during the dark hours in the wintertime at Cedar Lake temperatures plunge to the 30's.
