A splendid location for whitewater paddling close to Cedar Grove Lake is Molalla River. If you came for an overnight stay       Camp Dakota is a perfect place to camp, and there is a delightful hiking trail nearby called the High Camp Trail. I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a glorious time here at Cedar Grove Lake. Do have a look at Karney Reservoir right next door to Cedar Grove Lake, it's a scenic lake; a wonderful nearby hotel is Oxford Suites Gladstone. For the period of the days of summer here at Cedar Grove Lake, high temperatures usually get into the 80's, and the night                  is a little chillier of course, usually in the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 40's with temperatures at Cedar Grove Lake dipping down into the 30's during winter nights. This lake is one of the great places here in the Central Cascade Range. If you adore the outdoors you'll adore it here in the Central Cascade Range. Mollala River - North Fork is a great whitewater spot in close proximity to Cedar Grove Lake, and a pleasant visit to Dickey Prairie is a tremendous way to spend an afternoon. This lake is so wonderful. Clackamette RV Park is a glorious local campground, and golf can be played at Ranch Hills Golf Club. If you need a spot to stay Rivershore Hotel on the Willamette River is a pleasant choice, and Hancock Creek is in the vicinity of Cedar Grove Lake and is always a joy to stop at.
