It is very waterless here at Cayuse Reservoir generally; the month with most of the rain is November, and September is when it's the driest. All the outdoors entertaining stuff in the Blue Mountains will keep you coming back persistently. Do set aside some time for Holding Pasture since you're here at Cayuse Reservoir, and Hobble Spring is a splendid local attraction.
