     The beauty of Cayuse Reservoir attracts many people from all around. The Blue Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Places like Holding Pasture are great to have a look at, and Hobble Spring is a beautiful place to stop by while you're at Cayuse Reservoir. That right there is plenty of cool things already but it goes on, the Blue Mountains has it all. Camping at Cayuse Reservoir is pleasant fun, Fish House Inn is a pleasant local campground, and don't leave  
   Cayuse Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Coffeepot Trail.
You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun stuff in the Blue Mountains. Cayuse Reservoir gets very little precipitation; the wettest month of the year is mostly November, that's the one that rains the most, and September is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Pine Tree Campground if you're here at Cayuse Reservoir; you
 
               can go for a hike on the Black Canyon Trail.
You clearly must fancy Cayuse Reservoir. You're probably interested in lakes, Art Reservoir is one of those close by, and if you have the time, John Day Fossil Beds National Monument is a national park worth stopping at. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Cayuse Reservoir, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's while the cold winter nights at Cayuse Reservoir are in the 10's. Basin Creek is a great local stream, and going for a hike on the South Prong Trail is always a perfect adventure.
