    In Oregon there are many beautiful lakes, Cayuse Reservoir is one of them. The Blue Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Yeah, come up here to the Blue Mountains for a good time. Hiking along the Coffeepot Trail is delightful fun. If you want a good time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Cayuse Reservoir. Take a hike on the Black Canyon Trail. There's so much to do here at Cayuse Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Pine Tree Campground  
   is a good place for that.
It is very waterless here at Cayuse Reservoir generally; the month with most of the rain is November, and September is when it's the driest. All the outdoors entertaining stuff in the Blue Mountains will keep you coming back persistently. Do set aside some time for Holding Pasture since you're here at Cayuse Reservoir, and Hobble Spring is a splendid local attraction. Why not take a refreshing hike along the South Prong Trail, and
 
               since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always explore close by Viewpoint Reservoir.
Lakes are delightful; Art Reservoir is a lake that's near Cayuse Reservoir; unsurprisingly Basin Creek flows through this region. High temperatures at Cayuse Reservoir through the days of summer are in the 80's while nighttime lows are ordinarily in the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's, and overnight lows in the 10's for Cayuse Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. The views at John Day Fossil Beds National Monument will blow your mind, and Cayuse Reservoir is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Fish House Inn is a brilliant local campground.
