If you need a place to stay Lodge at Suttle Lake is a brilliant choice, and whitewater paddling is great on Metolius River. This spot, the Central Cascade Range, has so much outdoors entertaining stuff. If you came for an overnight stay Black Butte Resort is a magnificent place to camp, and Hoodoo is a great local ski area. So many exciting things to do in the Central Cascade Range,       not enough time. While you're here at Catlin Lake, you could also take a look at delightful Wasco Lake, and Catlin Lake is in close proximity to Minto Pass which is certainly worth visiting. This lake is so wonderful. Do explore Koko Lake in the vicinity of Catlin Lake, it's a stunning lake, and on a wonderful day you can take a hike along the Minto Pass Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Cold Springs Resort, and a fine nearby hotel                  is Best Western Ponderosa Lodge. The high level of rainfall makes Catlin Lake a relatively wet place; the month with most of the rain is December, and the driest month of the year is July. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable things at Catlin Lake. In the event that you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Marion Creek, and the Summit Trail is a good hiking trail close by. For the duration of the summertime here at Catlin Lake, high temperatures frequently reach the 70's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's with temperatures at Catlin Lake dipping down into the 20's during winter nights.
