Hiking along the Tire Mountain Trail is glorious fun, and if you're here, you could have a look at Gray Creek. Reservoir has it all. At Catching Reservoir you can catch a sight of Buckhead Mountain, and a golf course close by is Circle Bar Golf Club. Summertime highs at Catching Reservoir typically tend to be in the 80's; through summer nights
temperatures are in the 50's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 40's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Catching Reservoir temperatures descend to the 30's.
The Central Cascade Range scenery
is always beautiful. This lake is so wonderful. A tremendous spot for whitewater paddling close to Catching Reservoir is Willamette River - Middle Fork. Catching Reservoir is a wet place that gets a large amount of rainfall; November
is the wettest month with most rain while July is regularly the driest month.
Not far from Catching Reservoir you get some nice water scenery at Dam Number One. There's so much to do here at Catching Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Errin Campground is a great place for that.
