Catching Reservoir is always a pleasure to visit. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Willamette River - Middle Fork offers some great whitewater, and going for a hike on the Larison Creek Trail is always a good adventure. Near Catching Reservoir you hit upon the Alpine Trail which is a brilliant hiking trail, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Salmon Creek. So many cool things to do

There's so much to do here at Catching Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Errin Campground is a great place for that, and there's some flowing water close by, Gray Creek is a stream you can check out while here. one that rains the most; July on the other hand is the driest. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Oakridge Inn, and you can go for a hike on the Tire Mountain Trail. Catching Reservoir is one of the lakes here in the Central
Cascade Range. All year is a great time in the Central Cascade Range if you adore the outdoors. A nice panorama of charming Buckhead Mountain is available from Catching Reservoir, and Circle Bar Golf Club is a golf course close by.
The warmest time of the year at Catching Reservoir comes with high temperatures in the 80's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. High temperatures all through the winter are normally in the
