Cat Lakes is always a pleasure to visit. On a wonderful day you get a view of Cat Butte from Cat Lakes, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to nearby Long Lake. During the summertime at Cat Lakes temperatures are frequently in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 50's. For the duration of the winter the highs are generally in the 40's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Cat Lakes temperatures descend

It is very waterless here at Cat Lakes mostly; most of the rain falls through November; July is the month with the least moisture. There's so much to do here at Cat Lakes that you need to camp here for a while, Hot Springs Campground is a great location for that. Lakes? Sure, Mound Lake is in close proximity. | |
