This place, Castor Lake, it clearly has so much outdoors exciting stuff. A trip to Deer Lick Falls will fill your soul with perfect feelings, and needless to say, this is a fine region for people who like lakes, Carmen Lake is a lake close by. Castor Lake is located in the Southern Cascade Range. Stay the night at Buckeye Lake Campground, and why not a little side journey to Black Rock Fork. This lake       is so wonderful. There are great spots to look at along the BVD Trail. Lakes are glorious; Alligator Lake is a lake that's in the vicinity of Castor Lake. Man, is there a lot of entertaining stuff to do in the Southern Cascade Range. Get wet paddling on Copland Creek. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Castor Lake has to offer, you can camp at Cliff Lake Campground. There is a wonderful hiking trail right next door to Castor Lake called the Copeland                  Creek Trail, and Crater Lake National Park is a magnificent national park. Through the summertime months at Castor Lake highs are commonly in the 80's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Castor Lake. This lake is so wonderful. The high level of rainfall makes Castor Lake a relatively wet location; November is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest of the months is July. You simply must go for the Southern Cascade Range.
