There's no way somebody can get bored here in the Central Cascade Range. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Moraine Lake Trail; Carver Lake is a delightful place to visit for more than one day, East Lake Resort and RV Parks is a delightful place to camp nearby. Interesting geology is available here; Carver Glacier is near Carver Lake; you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing       at Mt. Bachelor since you're here. And that's not all you can do here at Carver Lake. The view of South Sister from Carver Lake is gorgeous; Frazier Upland is a great place here at Carver Lake. Carver Lake is a wet place that gets lots of rainfall; most of the snow falls throughout December while July is ordinarily the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Lodge at Suttle Lake, and you can have a great hiking adventure along                  the Wickiup Plain Trail. So much fun stuff to do in the Central Cascade Range, not enough time. Stay the night at Upper Campground; if you need a location to stay Best Western Ponderosa Lodge is a good choice. Through the summer highs here at Carver Lake reach the 70's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's; overnight lows during the wintertime for Carver Lake tend to be in the 10's. Take a hike on the Green Lakes Trail, and Camp Lake is a tremendous lake close by. Skiing at Hoodoo is one of those things you just must do. Carver Lake is a beautiful lake in the Central Cascade Range. This lake is so wonderful.
