In Oregon there are many beautiful lakes, Carmen Reservoir is one of them. This lake is located in the wonderful Central Cascade Range. Man, is there loads of enjoyable things to do right next door to Carmen Reservoir. Some of the water close by flows, like Fish Lake Creek, and Underwater Forest is an out of the ordinary site to explore while at Carmen Reservoir.
This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Carmen Reservoir without first going for a hike along

| | the Anderson Ridge Trail, and Carmen Diversion Dam is a pretty location, absolutely worth a visit. But wait, there's more fun stuff to do in the Central Cascade Range. If you need a place to stay Sleepy Hollow Motel is a delightful choice, and if you get bored of Carmen Reservoir you could also go to nearby Clear Lake. Carmen Reservoir generally gets a good deal of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is December while July is the month with the least amount | |

of precipitation.
Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this location. Camping at Patio RV Park is always a pleasant experience, and perfect skiing awaits you at Hoodoo. If you came to camp Tombstone Prairie Campground is a perfect
site to do that; you can go for a hike on the Smith Prairie Trail. A short tour to Great Spring is always worthwhile, and delightful hiking is available along the Browder Ridge Trail.
Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Central
Cascade Range. Detroit Motel is a splendid site to get some rest, and you can run the rapids of Horse Creek. At Carmen Reservoir all through the summer months highs are in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 40's.
Throughout the winter highs are in the 30's; through the dark hours in the winter at Carmen Reservoir temperatures sink to the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. Beaver Marsh is an attention-grabbing swamp in the vicinity of Carmen Reservoir, and a great site for whitewater paddling is Marion Creek.
