Many people like to go to Carmen Reservoir. The Central Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful. You believe that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Lakes are pleasant; Clear Lake is a lake that's next to Carmen Reservoir; stunning scenery and magnificent skiing is what you obtain at Hoodoo.
Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by close by Fish Lake; there is a perfect hiking trail close by called the Smith Prairie Trail. The high

level of rainfall makes Carmen Reservoir a pretty wet site; most of the rain falls during December while July is usually the driest month. No need to travel far to have a look at attention-grabbing stuff like Underwater Forest, and dry warm beds await you at Lodge at Suttle Lake.
You truly must love Carmen Reservoir. There are swamps here too; Beaver Marsh is close at hand, and going for a hike on the Anderson Ridge Trail is always a wonderful adventure.

This lake is so wonderful. There are some fine whitewater spots on Horse Creek, and there are delightful spots to look at along the Browder Ridge Trail. High temperatures at Carmen Reservoir throughout the summer are in the 80's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 40's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Carmen Reservoir.
All the outdoors amusing stuff in the Central Cascade Range will keep you coming back persistently. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Marion Creek, and Country Star Recreational Vehicle Park is a wonderful local campground. This lake is so wonderful. A short trip to Great Spring is always worthwhile, and do take a look at Carmen Diversion Dam if you're here. Yeah, come up here to the Central Cascade Range for a wonderful time. Fish Lake Creek flows through this region; why not camp at Tombstone Prairie Campground if you're here at Carmen Reservoir.
