In Oregon there are many beautiful lakes, Carlton Reservoir is one of them. This lake is located in the wonderful Coast Ranges. So many fun things to do at Carlton Reservoir, so little time. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Trask River - North Fork, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop at nearby Haskins Creek Reservoir. At Carlton Reservoir during the warm days of summer highs are in the 60's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's; overnight lows in the 30's for Carlton Reservoir. Be careful coming to the Coast Ranges, you might not ever wanna return home again. The peak of Kutch One Mountain can be observed from Carlton Reservoir.
This lake is so wonderful. There are some great whitewater spots on Mill Creek; Bailey Spring is a pretty site to take a look at while you're at Carlton Reservoir. Yeah, come up here to the Coast Ranges for a great time. A brilliant
close by hotel is Paragon Motel; Carlton Reservoir is a great place to camp, Mulkey RV Park is a great place.
