     This is a pleasant neighborhood for people who like lakes. Sitton Reservoir is a lake in the neighborhood, and why not have a look at nearby Rowland Creek if you're here at Carlton Lake. Camping is available at Olde Stone Village Mobile Home, and if you need a place to stay Red Lion Inns & Suites Mcminnville is a great choice. Camping at Flamingo Mobile and RV Park is always a tremendous experience, and dry warm beds await you at Americas Best Value Inn and  
   Suites McMinnville. For the period of the warm days of summer at Carlton Lake highs are ordinarily in the 80's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 40's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Carlton Lake descend into the 30's.
This lake is so wonderful. Alecs Butte is pretty and can be observed from Carlton Lake, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always visit
 
               close by Oberg Reservoir. Carlton Lake sees pretty high levels of rain; the wettest month of the year is commonly December, that's the one that rains the most while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. You feel that's enough? Just getting warmed up.
