The beauty of Cardiac Lake attracts many people from all around. A lot of rainfall falls at Cardiac Lake; December is the wettest month with most rain; July on the other hand is the driest. All year is a perfect time in the Central Cascade Range if you go for the outdoors. A visit to Cupit Mary Meadow revives the soul, and if you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on McKenzie River - South Fork. This lake is so wonderful.

| | You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Willamette Pass since you're here, and pleasant hiking is available along the Waldo Lake Trail.
Not far from Cardiac Lake, you'll discover Bingo Lake which is a delightful lake; the beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Lillian Falls. a while, Shelter Cove Resort is a perfect site for that, and don't forget to pop by Klovdahl Bay if you're here.
Edith Creek flows through this area, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Cardiac Lake; Cupit Mary Meadow Trail
is a good local trail. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool things in the Central Cascade Range. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Cardiac Lake has to offer, you can camp at Twin Springs Campground; why not take
a refreshing hike along the Salmon Creek Trail. Be careful coming to Cardiac Lake, you might not ever want to go back home again. Dry warm beds await you at Sleepy Hollow Motel; you obtain a tremendous view of Cupit Mary Mountain
from here.
The warmest time of the year at Cardiac Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's; during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 40's, and after the
sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at Cardiac Lake dip into the 20's. Whitewater paddling is good on Hills Creek.
