Capek Reservoir is not the only place close by, Pope Reservoir is a close by lake, and nearby Tule Lake Valley is a splendid location to go. Mills Creek is a nice place to visit; you can take a little tour to Gulch Dam if you're here at Capek Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. All our national parks are fine sites to have a look at, and Lava Beds National Monument is no exception.       There's so much to do here at Capek Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Eagle's Nest RV Park is a good location for that. During the days of summer at Capek Reservoir highs are regularly in the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Capek Reservoir. Whohoo, so much amusing stuff in one place! Capek Reservoir is unbeatable! Not much rain falls here at Capek Reservoir; the wettest month of the year is mostly December, that's the one that snows the most, and the driest month of the year is July.
