Through the warm days of summer highs here at Canyon City Reservoir reach       the 80's. Summer nighttime lows drop down to the 40's. During the wintertime highs are typically in the 30's with temperatures at Canyon City Reservoir dipping down into the 20's during winter nights. Any time is a nice time at Canyon City Reservoir if you like the outdoors. Since you're here at Canyon City Reservoir why not go to Blue Gulch, and the Fawn Spring Trail offers hiking at its best. A good nearby hotel is Burns - Days Inn Ponderosa, and why not                  take a refreshing hike along the Canyon Mountain Trail.
