If you like lakes and you're in this part of Oregon you can check out Camp Reservoir. Camping is available at Bear Canyon Campground, and you can go for a hike on the South Pass Lake Trail. This lake is so wonderful. But wait, there's more cool stuff to do in the Southern Cascade Range. reveals herself at Cold Spring. Whitewater paddling is magnificent on Klamath River, and pleasant hiking is available along the Brown Mountain Trail. Man, is there plenty of fun things to do in the neighborhood of Camp Reservoir.
Nearby lakes? Sure, Tom Reservoir is near Camp Reservoir, and if you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Trask River. This lake is one of the great places here in the Southern Cascade Range.
