John Day Fossil Beds National Monument is a pleasant place in the vicinity of Camp Reservoir, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to close by Corral Reservoir. It is very waterless here at Camp Reservoir generally; through May this area sees the most rain,       and the driest of the months is July. Having a tremendous time in the Blue Mountains is trouble-free.
