This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Cached Lake without first paying a visit to Copper Creek Falls, and Cached Lake is not the only site close by, Pop Lake is a close by lake. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Cached Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Main Eagle Bridge Campground is a perfect place for that, and if the weather is fine, you can go for a hike along the Copper Creek Trail.       During the days of summer at Cached Lake highs are generally in the 80's. Summer overnight lows drop down to the 40's. Through the winter highs are in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Cached Lake. Cached Lake gets very little rainfall; December is when you get the most snow here, and the driest of the months is July. You assume that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. Have a pleasant hiking adventure along the Main Creek Trail,                  and if you need a place to stay Baker City Super 8 Motel is a brilliant choice. Yep, outdoors fun stuff truly is bountiful here in the Wallowa Mountains. Going for a hike along the Trail Creek Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area, and on a beautiful day you get a splendid panorama of Hummingbird Mountain from Cached Lake. Lookingglass Lake Dam is worth visiting while you're here; dry warm beds await you at Best Western Rama Inn & Suites. The Wallowa Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Copper Creek flows through this area; if you've had enough of Cached Lake, Little Pop Lake is close by. There's no way someone can get bored here in the Wallowa Mountains.
