Camping at Cable Reservoir is glorious fun, Jackson County Parks and Rec is a glorious local campground, and Young Hill is a peak you can distinguish from Cable Reservoir. Super 8 Motel Medford OR is a magnificent location to get some rest. This site, the Southern Cascade Range, has so much outdoors exciting stuff. Cable Reservoir       is right by the Chicago Trail; golf can be played at Eagle Point Golf Course. Through the long summer days, highs typically are in the 80's at Cable Reservoir, and the nighttime is a little colder of course, generally in the 40's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 40's with temperatures at Cable Reservoir dipping down into the 20's all through winter nights. If you have a thing about the outdoors you'll have a thing about it here in the Southern Cascade                  Range. Lots of people from Medford come to Cable Reservoir; everyone close by loves skiing at Mt. Ashland. But wait, there's more to do close to Cable Reservoir. After a long day outdoors Courtyard by Marriott Medford Airport is a nice site to spend a night or two, and if you come at the right time of year, Rogue River offers some brilliant whitewater. Cable Reservoir is a delightful spot to camp, Eagle Trailer Park is a delightful spot, and if you get bored of Cable Reservoir you could also stop at nearby Military Slough Reservoirs. This lake is so wonderful. There's some flowing water close by, Antelope Creek is a stream you can take a look at during your stay, and you can have a fine hiking adventure along the Tison Trail. This lake is so wonderful. There are some great whitewater spots on Big Butte Creek, and hiking along the Alco Trail is wonderful fun.
