So many exciting things in the neighborhood of Cable Reservoir, simply incredible. Cable Reservoir is located in the Southern Cascade Range. This lake is so wonderful. You'll find a stunning lake called Whetstone Pond near Cable Reservoir; there's whitewater on Big Butte Creek for all you adrenaline kick people. Near Cable Reservoir you discover the Chicago Trail which is a great hiking trail, and       if you need a spot to stay Courtyard by Marriott Medford Airport is a magnificent choice. Having a magnificent time at Cable Reservoir is uncomplicated. There are splendid locations to explore along the Tison Trail; why not stop by close by Antelope Creek since you're here at Cable Reservoir. Camping is available at Lakewood RV Park, and everybody close by loves skiing at Mt. Ashland. After a long day outdoors La Quinta Inn Suites White City is a tremendous                  location to spend a night or two, and the vista of pretty Young Hill is magnificent. At Cable Reservoir through the long summer days highs are in the 80's with overnight lows in the 40's. For the period of the winter the highs are typically in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Cable Reservoir are in the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. Why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Eagle Point Golf Course, and why not camp at Emigrant Lake since you're here at Cable Reservoir. That right there is lots of fun things already but it goes on, the Southern Cascade Range has it all. Going for a hike on the Alco Trail is always a nice adventure; there are some perfect whitewater spots on Rogue River. Cable Reservoir gets a normal amount of rainfall; the month of December is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest month is July. Be careful coming to the Southern Cascade Range, you might not ever wanna return home again.
