If you are in Marion county it's always a good idea to stop by Butte Lake. And that's not all there is to do here in the Central Cascade Range. Paddling on Mollala River - South Fork is so much fun, and near Butte Lake you stumble on a golf course called Elkhorn Valley Golf Course. Summertime highs at Butte Lake ordinarily tend to be in the 70's; the overnight is quite chillier of course, frequently in the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are frequently in

| | the 40's while Butte Lake night low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. The sight of Dog Rock from Butte Lake is scenic, and you can go for a hike on the Baty Silver King Trail.
Glide down the rapids of Santiam River - Little North in a kayak, and you can stay the night at Silver Falls State Park. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by close by Copper Lake, and do put some time aside | |

to spend at Mud Springs since you're here at Butte Lake. Just can't get enough of the Central Cascade Range. Some of the water nearby flows, like Fibre Creek; dry warm beds await you at All Season's Motel.
This place is unbeatable,
just check out all the entertaining stuff to do in close proximity to Butte Lake. There are great spots to look at along the Pine Crest Trail; Oak Park Motel & Trailer Park is a good location to get some rest. This lake is located
in the wonderful Central Cascade Range. All the water falling down from the sky makes Butte Lake a wet place; the month with most of the rain is December, and July is the month with the least moisture.
This lake is so wonderful.
Butte Lake is a great place to camp, Taylor Park is a great place, and pleasant hiking is available along the High Camp Trail.
