Summertime highs at Butte Lake mostly tend to be in the 70's, and the nighttime is slightly chillier of course, regularly in the 50's. High temperatures all through the wintertime are normally in the 40's, and overnight lows in the 30's for Butte Lake. The Central Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful. This lake is so wonderful. Rodeway Inn Sublimity is a great place to get some       rest, and Cascade Sports Camp is a perfect local campground. Camp Dakota is a wonderful campground nearby; one of the governing features of the surroundings of Butte Lake is Dog Rock. All year is a magnificent time in the Central Cascade Range if you love the outdoors. Don't leave Butte Lake without first paying a visit to Mud Springs, and going for a hike on the Baty Silver King Trail is always a good adventure. There's just no way somebody can get bored                  here at Butte Lake. Fibre Creek flows through this area, and there are some wonderful whitewater spots on Mollala River - South Fork. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Santiam River - Little North for all you adrenaline rush seekers; nearby you stumble on the Pine Crest Trail which is a glorious hiking trail. Butte Lake is a reasonably wet place ordinarily with lots of rain; December is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest of the months is July. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun stuff in the Central Cascade Range. Go for a hike on the High Camp Trail, and Butte Lake is not the only location close by, Fibre Lake is a close by lake.
