All through the summer months at Butler Reservoir temperatures are generally in the 80's while night lows are usually in the 50's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 30's, and nighttime lows in the 20's for Butler Reservoir. Butler Reservoir is ordinarily a quite arid spot; all through December this area sees the most snow, and July meanwhile is the driest       month. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Trail Motel, and going for a hike on the Rock Creek Lake Trail is always a great adventure. So much fun stuff to do at Butler Reservoir, so little time. Camping is available at Mountain View Holiday Travel; there is a good hiking trail close by called the Twin Lakes Trail. Looking for some flowing water? Try Marble Creek, and Western Motel is a great site to get some rest. Very beautiful scenery and wonderful                  skiing is what you get at Anthony Lakes, and Baker City Golf Club is a golf course close by. You're in all probability interested in lakes, De Vos Pond is one of those close by, and if you want a little side visit, try Hibbard Gulch. The Elkhorn Crest Trail is a magnificent hiking trail near Butler Reservoir; Butler Reservoir is not far at all from La Grande. This lake is so wonderful.
