    Why not stop by Burnt Lake if you're passing through these parts. What would winter be without some skiing at Timberline Lodge. Why not take a refreshing hike along the East Zigzag Mountain Trail, and Falcon's Crest Inn On Mt. Hood is a nice spot to get some rest. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Burnt Lake with nighttime lows in the 50's. During the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's while Burnt Lake night low temperatures  
   through the winter are in the 30's.
This lake is so wonderful. Near Burnt Lake you locate Little Zigzag Canyon which is a great place to check out; Burnt Lake is a brilliant place to camp, Twin Bridges Campground is a brilliant place. You absolutely ought to adore the Central Cascade Range. Gotta ski! Mt. Hood Ski Bowl is a great site to do that, and if you need a place to stay Falcon's Crest Inn on Mt. Hood is a splendid choice. Burnt Lake is located in
 
               the Central Cascade Range.
Man, is there heaps of exciting stuff to do in the Central Cascade Range. Take a hike on the Burnt Lake Trail, and a lake nearby is Devils Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Paradise Park Trail is magnificent fun, and get your heart pumping on the great whitewater of Sandy River. You can run the rapids of Zigzag River in the vicinity of Burnt Lake, and the summit of Slide Mountain can be seen from Burnt Lake.
Burnt Lake is a relatively wet place ordinarily with a large amount of precipitation; December is when you get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is July. This place, Burnt Lake, it just has so much outdoors amusing stuff. Barlow Campground is a fine campground here, and the fine people of Hood River like to hang out close by.
