Burnt Lake sees pretty high levels of rain; all through December this area sees the most rain, and July is when it's the driest. For the duration of the months of summer at Burnt Lake highs are typically in the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Through the winter this place gets highs in the 40's with temperatures at Burnt Lake dipping down into the 30's through winter nights. | |

Mount Hood Inn is a wonderful place to get some rest.
This lake is so wonderful. Skiing at Timberline Lodge is one of those things you just should do; there are plenty of people from Hood River here at Burnt Lake. Burnt Lake is
right by the East Zigzag Mountain Trail, and almost certainly you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Mirror Lake is just a very short distance away. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Barlow Campground
is a delightful location to camp, and after a long day outdoors Whispering Woods (Vri) is a wonderful location to spend a night or two.
Twin Bridges Campground is a nice campground nearby, and hiking along the Paradise Park Trail
is great fun. Just can't get enough of Burnt Lake. Little Zigzag Canyon is in the vicinity of Burnt Lake and is a nice place, and scenic scenery and pleasant skiing is what you acquire at Mt. Hood Ski Bowl.
