Yamhill River - South has a tremendous whitewater paddling spot close by, and a good place to camp here at Burns Reservoir is Fan Creek Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is good on Mill Creek, and Burns Reservoir is good enough to spend more than a day at, Wandering Spirit RV Park is a good local campground. Lakes are such serene locations, why not take a look at       Suttner Reservoir next to Burns Reservoir, and obviously Cockerham Creek is a beautiful stream that is worth going to. Burns Reservoir mostly gets lots of rainfall; December is when you get the most rain here, and July on the other hand is the driest. There's no way someone can get bored here in the Coast Ranges. Bailey Reservoir is a tremendous lake close to Burns Reservoir; if you need a spot to stay Best Western Dallas Inn & Suites is a tremendous choice.                  Summer brings highs in the 70's to Burns Reservoir, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Burns Reservoir. This lake is one of the great places here in the Coast Ranges. This place, Burns Reservoir, it just has so much outdoors amusing stuff.
