Having a pleasant time in the Central Cascade Range is uncomplicated. If you come at the right time of year, Eagle Creek offers some brilliant whitewater, and a great nearby hotel is Best Western Sandy Inn. This lake is so wonderful. For you golfers we recommend nearby Springwater Golf Course, and Burglund Pond is a nice place to visit for more than one day, Armstrong - Mount Hood National Forest is a nice place       to camp nearby. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors enjoyable stuff the Central Cascade Range has to offer. Go for a hike on the Eagle Creek Cutoff; while you're here, you could also check out stunning Roslyn Lake. Don't leave Burglund Pond without first going for a hike along the Dry Ridge Trail; Eagle Fern Camp is a splendid local campground. For the duration of the summertime highs here at Burglund Pond reach the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges                  down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's; overnight lows throughout the wintertime for Burglund Pond tend to be in the 30's. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Bull Run, and going for a hike on the Fanton Plaza Trail is always a delightful adventure.
