There's so much to do here at Burchard Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Loon Lake Lodge and RV Resort is a wonderful spot for that, and get your pulse rate up on the fine whitewater of Umpqua River. So many entertaining things in the Coast Ranges, just inspiring. Wasson Lake is a magnificent lake close to Burchard Lake, and you can stay the night at Angler's Park. Summertime highs       at Burchard Lake mostly tend to be in the 70's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 50's; overnight lows in the 30's for Burchard Lake. Burchard Lake gets a large amount of water; most of the rain falls throughout December; July is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. A great nearby hotel is Best Western Salbasgeon Inn & Suites of Reedsport, and lakes are such serene locations, why not explore Loon Lake.
