    It's always fun to stop by Bull Prairie Lake. Not much rain falls here at Bull Prairie Lake; November is when you get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is July. This lake is one of the great places here in the Blue Mountains. For the period of the months of summer here at Bull Prairie Lake, high temperatures mostly reach the 80's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the  
   40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Bull Prairie Lake.
And if that's not enough, there's a heap more to do close to Bull Prairie Lake. A visit to Bull Prairie Spring will fill your soul with good feelings; you can stay the night at Elkhorn Tavern and RV Park. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Blue Mountains. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Bull Prairie Lake has to offer, you can camp at Lepage Park - John Day Fossil
 
               Beds National Monument, and one of the main traits of the surroundings of Bull Prairie Lake is Whitetail Butte. This lake is so wonderful. Some close by water includes Colvin Creek, and do take a hike on the Knob Trail.
All the outdoors fun things in the Blue Mountains will keep you coming back persistently. Hiking along the Madison Butte Trail is tremendous fun. John Day Fossil Beds National Monument is a very glorious place to explore near Bull Prairie Lake, also Bull Prairie Dam is worth visiting if you're here. Bull Prairie Lake is right by the Wall Creek Trail, and if you need a place to stay Econo Lodge Boardman is a tremendous choice.
